staking strategy
0.75 pence x 4 lines
0.70 pence x 6 lines
0.60 pence x 8 lines
0.50 pence x 9 lines
0.50 pence 12 lines
0.40 pence 18 lines
last seasons numbers in percentages.
44% 3/1 or lower ( 46% of my bets in that price range)
20% 100/30 to 5/1 ( 26%)
18.7% 11/2 to 10/1 (21%)
16.6% 10/1 to + plus (4%)
this year will post the selections with the prices, so after ive got my bets on. will be selecting lot more horses in the 10/1 plus price range. will be no write ups as usual
too time consuming. think I have got everything covered now, as for the results will just post the finishing positions of the selections, as opposed to the winners of the races.
will just keep accurate records of the race winners on my A4 pages.

I assume Lee's post about discipline is taking the Michael. A day ago beep beep posted "I'm skint until next Wednesdays pay day". He doesn't watch racing either but thinks that some might be interested in his "eye-catcher list"

I will be watching the replays this season, you can be easily fooled by replays, if all you had to do was watch replays to win,
they would all be winning wouldn't they (punters). hopefully all goes well and I'm able to complete the full flat season, according to you dj876, there will be no one interested in my thread this year.think people will make up there own minds. drifters/place bets/lays/trading/forecasts/tricasts,singles just the 7 different ways to exploit my (marking the cards) |

2.05 1st gracious john 8/1 - orvar 5/1 unplaced 2.40 1st grandfather tom 2/5 - meerpat 2nd 7/2 3.50 1st goring 11/4 - mr scaramanga 2nd 14/1 f/c 43.79 4.25 at at 15/8 unplaced annoying that last race, forecast prices where 13/8 island brave and 4/1 ay ay, gut instincts where telling me the bookies pulling a fast one, once the prices where known, should of changed my mind and went for my 2nd choice in the race. sea fox in the 3.50 was tipped up by the racing post and good piece of form in the book, just behind mr scaramanga, t/c £280 its the forecast doubles that really interest me, with encore dor finishing 2nd in the 2.05. £20 on that double £32k  good start and welcome boost in confidence, no returns. |

if and when i hit £2/3k payout on a multiple this season,and calculate all the bets over 3/1, how many points can i reasonably
expect to be in profit, answer is negligible, you dont seem to understand that, tried to make this point to you last year. there was 89 losers and maybe a few more from 198 races last season at 3/1 or under, im aware of that stat and so was everyone else. points is terrible way of going about betting, my goal is to hit big multiples win and even bigger f/c doubles. just have enough money to cover these bets, eventually will be playing the other angles in the races. todays races, abe lincoln drifted to a good price in the end 2/1, zest was weighted to reverse placings and won it nicely, no complaints on those two results. shamshon what a sham that race turned out to be. tuesdays results 3.00 2nd emenem 15/8 - kyllachy 7/2 u/p 3.30 u/p stellar surprise 3/1 - carolinae u/p 15/8 3.45 1st mambo dancer 6/4 4.15 2nd shamshon 10/11 |

difficult race to study that lincoln trial , with so many horses that have been very good in the past, should be lot more
betting opportunities, when the flat season starts, there was a good f/c during the week with kyllachy gala beating pactolus ex 121.90 and the fav 3rd for the trifecta 236.50. |

The relatively unexposed horse won the race,running against slowboats can't remember the last time had a Heinz up not one of my biggest winning days but lot of satisfaction more from others doing them than me winning money..

does seem a tad over priced with bet635 at 8/1. way these markets work, there could be a big move for that one on the day, as punters look for value. |

this race, prices at moment are 6/1 and 7/1, going to trade lower on the day, if you want to steal a point or two on the prices. soft ground and there is few decent stayers in the race. likely a race that will make it onto my bets for saturday. |
