No horse in the next 100 years will win 6 Festival races in a row,No matter how good or bad that race may be.

Didn't lay her at all. No bet in the race whatsoever.

Just don't rate her achievement as highly as some are making out

Well done for trotting out the old "Obviously done his conkers laying it" line though. I'd say you have that saved somewhere for a quick "copy-and-paste" whenever you need it.

As tony has pointed out,The fact she's even turned up 6 years in a row is an achievement in itself.
Trying to belittle her achievement is just petty.

Pointless thread. Most people realise the quality of opposition isn't up to much, but it's still the festival and it's a race there to be won. To achieve the feat 6 times with a mare is remarkable in itself.

A narrow win against Glens Melody good horse that she is but has her limitations, I backed the french one still going very well before actually stumbling rather than falling and to make it easier I think it badly interfered with McCoys horse?, either ways the race was left on a plate but bloody hell did Walsh have to ride the sh1t out of her again to get up close home to win one of the weakest races on the calender.

I don't see how it's belittling. She's a Gr1 horse being aimed at a Gr2 race every year, having been wrapped in cotton wool for the previous 11 months. She had 22lbs in hand on her nearest rival today but she's being hailed as some sort of wonder-horse. If any other Gr1 standard horse was aimed at a glorified Listed race year after year the trainer would be laughed out of it. Her Punchestown wins have greater merit than her Cheltenham ones IMO.

Fair play to Willie for getting her there, that is an impressive training performance, although the fact that she only runs twice a year does mitigate against that somewhat.

Impressive training performance db?, your granny can work them on the gallop and get them fit, what else do they actually do bar gallop them, seriously?
