Roscommon and Tyrone are level at half time. The Rossies are playing 15men behind the ball and frustrating the Tyrone forwards. I-02 to 0-05

Report BJG July 6, 2013 7:36 PM BST
KK there for the taking but Tipps half forward line has been shocking, have nt won a ball all the first half!
Report silvergreaser July 6, 2013 7:39 PM BST
both sets of backs well on top.
Report peckerdunne July 6, 2013 7:39 PM BST
Yes KK worked to hard, have to think Tipp will have ther 10 minutes. Need to get half forwards going..
Report peckerdunne July 6, 2013 7:40 PM BST
so hard
Report peckerdunne July 6, 2013 7:45 PM BST
I think Tipp need it in fast and wide, on the chest or lower.
Report peckerdunne July 6, 2013 8:17 PM BST
Anymore 1.12 pls....jubbly
Report BJG July 6, 2013 8:22 PM BST
Aye the 1.12 backer was in v early! 10 mins left and a goal in it only
Report Dan Chipowski July 6, 2013 8:23 PM BST
How many brainless frees do Tipp plan on giving away?

Shocking lack of effort from their forwards too.
Report BJG July 6, 2013 8:23 PM BST

Cant beat match fitness and desire..
Report Dan Chipowski July 6, 2013 8:29 PM BST
Poor match, Tipp were awful in the second half, no heart and gave away countless silly frees. Kilkenny a shadow of their former selves still.
Report Goalhanger July 6, 2013 8:32 PM BST
Limerick, Cork, Galway, Dublin Cork and Clare will not fear Kilkenny if they meet them.

Limerick will win the All Ireland this year, hungriest team i have seen and decent depth now.
Report silvergreaser July 6, 2013 8:34 PM BST
Apart from the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half Kilkenny dominated it was their own profligacy that kept Tipp in it.

How Larkin got man of the match ahead of Brian Hogan I simply don't know, Hogan was immense?
Report freddiek July 6, 2013 11:13 PM BST
bit of a joke that Down who beat Derry in Celtic Park a few weeks back in the Ulster, get drawn to play them again in the qualifiers at the same venue. Down should have had home advantage
Report Goalhanger July 7, 2013 2:15 PM BST
Shocking, absolutely shocking kicking from Cork and Kerry.

Report kiddo112 July 7, 2013 3:42 PM BST
Sun starting to break through here in Dublin, going to be a very warm in Croker.

John Mc Caffrey is 1/2 with Powers to score today (6/4 not to), he is evens with Ladbrokes to score from play.
Report BJG July 7, 2013 3:45 PM BST
Depends what Galway turn up Goalhanger imo - impossible to know with them

Could score 5 goals or could get none!
Report Goalhanger July 7, 2013 3:50 PM BST
True mate, may just leave it. 1-20 would win most games though so not sure if the total is right, could be 35 or 55 with Galway as you said BJG.
Report Goalhanger July 7, 2013 3:58 PM BST
Backed Dublin, think this is a coin toss.

LAOIS......LAOIS......you dont win titles beating Laois....
Report peckerdunne July 7, 2013 4:47 PM BST
They have'nt played a proper match since April. You cant just roll up to Croker and expect to beat a well trained match fit side....even if they arent great, it's a bit up from Laois.

No one will relish the task in Croker against them....Yes they are a little short on hurling..in areas...

Keep saying it winner of Munster final will win the All Ireland, think Limerick are the team to beat, whether that be through the quarters or the semi.

there is something special about fitzgerald stadium on a sunny sunday afternoon in a kerry cork munster final.the pitch is in the middle of the town and u can feel the buzz from early morning.the kerry people have a great way about them with a great sense of humour.magic!Cool
Report silvergreaser July 8, 2013 8:56 PM BST
Kerry for the all Ireland if they can get their kicking boots on, Kildare made Dublin look an awful lot better than they are, that goal before ht sent Kildare into a total mental breakdown, while Dublin should beat Meath comfortably I can see Meath giving them a game for long periods.
Report kingrat July 8, 2013 9:26 PM BST

Report silvergreaser July 8, 2013 9:47 PM BST
Believe me Kingrock Kerry will have a huge say in how Sam ends up.
Report neill d July 8, 2013 9:53 PM BST
Well they could have beaten Donegal last year and they pissed one away against the Dubs. Moving Cooper to centre forward has made a huge difference.
Report silvergreaser July 8, 2013 10:01 PM BST
Played some great stuff first half yesterday neill but missed an absolute bucket full which is not like Kerry, but on another day with their shooting boots on Cork would've been history.
Report Goretski July 8, 2013 10:17 PM BST
Silver

Dublin made Kildare look like trees...not the other way round! Dublin the team to beat this year, playing nice football and very easy on the eye
Report neill d July 8, 2013 10:18 PM BST
Didn't see it but heard from a pal at it that the full forward line functioned really well, all pace and movement. They had been playing in too many high straight balls on top of Donaghy for the last couple of years.
Report silvergreaser July 8, 2013 10:30 PM BST
goretski with nearly 37 mins on the clock there was only 2 points betweem Kildare and Dublin with Kildare enjoying plenty of ball but once that goal before half time went in I put my head in my hands I knew what was going to happen next.

Don't get me wrong dublin are a really good side but not as good as they looked against a Kildare team who had lost it mentally again?
Report kingrat July 9, 2013 2:06 PM BST
cork have talented players(propper footballers, big and have all the skills) but they have a dense manager that will not get the best out of them and even at that i dont think they are good enough imo.as for kerry?i just dont know.they had cork by the throat and were not clinical enough to kill them.for an ageing team they have found only 2 top players and have  2 on the bench and thats it.but when they are allowed time and space they still have it.cooper gave an exhipbition of how the centre half forward position should be played, that was worth the entrance fee alone.
Report by purpose July 9, 2013 5:06 PM BST
Dublin footballers as per usual getting well hyped up but Silver you must concede that Kildare are the most over hyped team in the last 5 years. They have managed to beat none of the top ranked teams in the championship but then according to there supporters have been victim of some misfortune or another.Time to dispatch your man back to Armagh and maybe bring in Glen Ryan a man who had a passion for his county jersey and might get something out of a team that gave up in a blink of an eye against the DUBS.
Report silvergreaser July 10, 2013 1:56 PM BST
By purpose I entirely agree with everything you said, the Geezer guy seems to have built up a cult following among the twenty something supporters who can't see the wood for the trees.
Report GANT007 July 11, 2013 10:03 PM BST

Report dj876 July 20, 2013 7:25 PM BST
There was about 3k matched on here from 1.78 to 1.72,obviously that is before commission tho.
They were 1.73  about ten mins before the game.
Apologies if the fractional odds implied fixed odds betting.
Report dj876 July 20, 2013 7:33 PM BST
I'd be surprised if there is 30 on the pitch at 70 minutes, some tight field too.

Kildare No 3 a right chancer  . Can the refs not see .
Report Distant View July 20, 2013 7:43 PM BST
It's a scandalous display by Kildare.

Their shooting is awful and distribution no better.

The one not insignificant consolation is that if this continues for another half, they will finally be rid of McGeeney.
Report Distant View July 20, 2013 8:05 PM BST

lol at the clown at the end putting the sideline ball over the bar. Kicked wide after wide during the game and with a point the last thing required with time up he calmly slots it over the bar with his right leg from the right hand side. You couldn't script it
