I think he is,he is pumped full of Lasix which will give him a lift, running on dirt means he will be avoiding the soft ground he hates.
Report p_r_e_m_i_e_r__f_a_n_t_a_s_y November 2, 2012 7:47 PM GMT
Played Jaycito in the race, no problems regarding the track and the way he runs gives the impression he will keep galloping to the line
Report CheltenhamRoar November 2, 2012 8:27 PM GMT
Fame and Glory has no chance what so ever,How many times have we seen coolmore horses run on the dirt and be completely tailed off,
This horse is not bred for the dirt,i'll have a bet with anyone this horse will be tailed off turning for home.
Report workrider November 2, 2012 8:47 PM GMT
i'll take that bet for a hundred if you want cheltenham ..cant see him been tailed off turning for home ..are we on...?

You have to admire Cheltenham Roar calls the race perfectly and then behaves like a gentleman after it.
Report CheltenhamRoar November 2, 2012 9:13 PM GMT
Cheers wildman,im quite modest really, dont like to go on about it,im a big coolmore fan,But never back them on the dirt in the us (unless their us bred) ie lines of battle
Report db1974 November 2, 2012 9:15 PM GMT
The Gold Cheongasm for me in the next. I think she'll run better than her last 2 outings, although the last one wasn't too bad.

Richard Hughes must have thought he was at Windsor on a Monday. Was he expecting them all to get out of his way. Attrocious riding by the British champion jockey
Report CheltenhamRoar November 2, 2012 9:42 PM GMT
Was just about to post that db,Horrible draw,Ye can put a line through that run,Not that it makes it any better if you backed it.

I thought Ryan Moore rode a funny race yanked her over to the rail at the start persisted in going up the inside although when he finally pulled her out she produced little,I certainly didn't see her finishing like a train.
Two runners and both shamed themselves.
Report CheltenhamRoar November 2, 2012 9:51 PM GMT
Have it on realt dubh workrider,be great to send as much as possible to a charity of your choice,

agree wildman, she was cooked after half a furlong,he used up too much gas getting her across to the rail,
She was staying on slightly but nothing of note really
Report db1974 November 2, 2012 9:53 PM GMT

Report Steveirll November 3, 2012 8:03 PM GMT
well done.....i seen a tip for it yesterday never backed it though, were did u get the tip ?
Report silvergreaser November 3, 2012 8:20 PM GMT
Steve he didn't need any information, I'd say Vubiant backed it on the strength of its Dewhurst run where the horse was given an awful lot to do before staying on takingly.
Report wildmanfromborneo November 3, 2012 8:36 PM GMT
He needs to hear his hooves rattle exactly like his father,he didn't handle the ground in the Dewhurst.Well would Vubiant understand that and good luck to him it got him a decent priced winner.
Report Fayzer November 3, 2012 8:42 PM GMT
if starspangledbanner wins this it'll be one of O'Briens greatest achievements.....beaten in a listed race a few short days ago.
Report richters November 3, 2012 8:44 PM GMT

Report rubyisgodinthesaddle November 3, 2012 9:11 PM GMT
where did he finish??

I doubt they care a nothing horse that was in a nothing race. Lost about 5 Million on the initial purchase but now already have a new stallion in George Vancouver.

Also purchased 50% in Todd Pletcher hot pot, wins tonight investment pretty much already paid for
Report Fayzer November 3, 2012 9:15 PM GMT
Bit of a move on fortify in the next
is an improving horse...has it to do with the fav but maybe the lack of juice will favour the godolphin horse here, as has never had lasix unlike the rest of the field.

Shanghai Bobby was given a poor ride but what a performance I never saw anything like that before, can anyone remember a comparable performance.
Report JayTrumpOldTomDubbl November 3, 2012 10:39 PM GMT
Would the ride Harchibald got in the Champion Hurdle come near it ? Oh sorry he didn't win, and Bobby did.................

Now well done to JP O'Brien in becoming Irish flat champion, but there'e a hell of a difference in riding horses that have huge amounts in hand at Naas etc.,to riding in the real big races.Lost the chance at history with his shocker aboard Camelot, and that ride on St.Nick was awful and looked dreadful, at least 13 heavy hits from the home turn, when once again he lay out of his ground.......cant believe this will be allowed go on next year, with Stout on the wane, leaving RL Moore with a decision, and Frankie now freelance
