it will be intresting to see what price boyles put up..if they put up evens will they push out the rest further than their usual 4/1 the rest in a field of 32 runners stake?!?
By:
He will probably be no bigger than a 6/4 poke with them. And there is no chance that will go bigger on the rest of the field either.
By:
the trial stake hes in is hot enough...a few i heard of earlier in the year who havent qualified yet for whatever reason etc.
By:
Spoyles go 5/2 Kinsale Bullet
By:
tempter at that if hes fully fit
By:
A fair price I thought. Not too short or too big imo
By:
ill have a few quid if it hold up.head of fire is very swwet on it for months now.earl of thomond isnt bad...noreen mcm owned and holian trained..
By:
I think he's good without being brilliant. Plenty with chances in it alright. The trials up there should even be more informative than the trial stake imo
By:
like they were last yr..some fair storys came out of there after them!!
By:
I am going to travel down there with MD for the 3 days so I get to see everything with my own 2 eyes!
By:
the only way.are we meeting for a pint?
By:
In Tubbercurry?
By:
no im off it for jan.clonmel
By:
Ya in Chawkes some evening. I don't drink while at the coursing
By:
i dont either.bad idea.maybe sat eve after the 1st round.
By:
Sounds good. Clonmel on the Saturday will be mayhem though I imagine
By:
after coursing wont be too bad..if chalkes is jammed the place across the road isnt bad either.its later in the eve when it gets really packed in clonmel(im told!!)
By:
kinsale 7/2 with berkie
By:
could look a big price sun eve..i thought 5/2 was good..hot trial stake tho
By:
Head of Fire and Specs will be all over that anyway!!
By:
id be surprised if hes beaten to be honest
By:
By:
was he beaten
By:
He's useless kavvie. Like I told you before. Hype, hype and more hype! Looked sluggish in the first round and didn't clock well and was beaten the length of the M50 in the second round
By:
we wont hear of him again so...i was lucky.id say it was you that stopped me backing him...thanks!
By:
Yes he won't be heard of next season imo. Plenty of fancied clonmel runners trialling there today. A few towards the top of both derby and oaks markets that clocked particularly poorly and I will be out to get them for their quarters and in their individual courses
By:
i have an outlet to lay with a prominent book..maybe we will share info.id say meeting fri eve might be benificial..im dead against blades of steel for one.and i fancy kyle leigh in derby.tho how it has fared since it won its ts(i was there, impressive) is open to conjecture..
By:
I would be of the same opinion kavvie. After the draw is made things will become clearer and I will mark your card from what myself and MD think of it
By:
look forward to that..i might even buy the 2 of you a drink...
By:
By:
I had been saying this all season ngu, even ask kavvie. He knows my view on the dog
By:
in fairness ngu hes been saying that all year.he stopped me backing it this weekend.having said that,i was talking to a lad there a few min ago who was there and he said the dog was visibly injured after the 2nd round...so the jury might be out on him a small bit!!
By:
Looked to be walking a bit gingerly after the 2nd round alright but his clock in the first round was very moderate
By:
as they say time will tell.he could be the champion stakes winner 2014!!?..
By:
Haha! If he wins next years champion stakes I will pack this game in altogether kavvie!!
By:
i agree totally..
By:
i thought u said he was good without being brilliant?
By:
i never seen him ngu..jst going on what people are tellng me..if its me ur refering to
By:
He's a good yardstick, but for the amount of hype that surrounded the dog all year I was not sucked in by any of it. I said to md after I first saw him that he would struggle to win a bad trial stake and so it proved
By:
ok
