Can't wait for this, Main bets this week:
Luke Donald 19's on here, Tied 4th last year also has a T3rd 2005, probably the best putter on the planet, which is what you need at Augusta, has missed a few cuts also but a complete player now. Hopeful of him getting his first major. Win only. Phil Mickleson 14's here. 3 times champ & multiple top 10's Top 5's, really can't leave Phil out given his record. Win only. Pod, 160's on here, the enigma that Padraig is, is reflected on his massive price. Although has missed cuts, if he is on his game can play well here with 2 top 5's, most recently in 2008, when admittedly he was at the top of his game. A good start from Harrington and you will be able to lay stake back and have free run on him. Win, Place & Top 10. Finally, there is always an Asian player who shows up well here over the years, I am going to chance YE Yang, major winner and hoping for a return to form, win & Place. Lay Tiger Woods at 5.0. Although has won here several times, can struggle at Augusta and would rather back Boy Wonder of the two shorties. Good Luck all, should be exciting. |
By:
bjg thats what rory did last year and its what works for him,you should be delighted he hasnt played the last few weeks, its a + not a -
|
By:
I've done my bets in Bruces just in case Rory runs away with it.
![]() Backed Steve Stricker & Edoardo Molinari. Might add a few during the week. |
By:
luke donald is world number 1.hes best putter in world.his form at agusta is very good.his current form is good.hes maturing all the time.hes 18 here.im on!!
|
By:
Going to wait until the first round is over.
Get a lie of the land and get plow into something. |
By:
i have pod @160, anything can happen here
quiros @ 200, he was -7 with rory after day 1 last year yang @ 200, he was -4 after day 1 last year also |
By:
I have ten players backed. My last addition was Jim Furyk at 140, imo a very big price.
He lost a playoff two weeks ago, and last week was 11th, one shot less and he would have been 4th behind the runaway winner, Tiger Woods. |
By:
big hitters heaven
buubba quiros woodland ishikawa rory at pp |
By:
My favourite of the majors.
Bo Van Pelt 90s with PP terms Robert Karlsson 150s with PP terms Luke Donald win only 14s with PP and bits on here at bigger. Think he has a biggie in him and he's a nice guy to boot. Might add 1/2 more at biggish prices before Thursday. |

padlock: big hitters heaven
Does this wisdom still prevail? Yes you can be very aggressive off the tee, because of the lack of rough and width of the fairways. And the closer to these greens you end up, the better. However, I thought Augusta was all about the accuracy of your irons, hitting small parts of the green? And putting, as there are some crazy spots to try and make two putts from. |
By:
wel yes,but rain expected apparently,ok zack won etc but generally advantage to big hitters as lengt goes up every year, chipping and putting prob more important
|

There's a free comp on the golf forum with decent prizes. Well worth a go everyone.

By:
My only bet this year will be a lay of Tiger Woods for a top 5 finish at 2.2 on here. One tournament win does not convince me and i'm prepared to take him on at that price.
|
By:
Rory McIlroy & Phil Mickelson
|
By:
itcanbedone, you are correct. The winner of this tournament is generally the player who leaves the ball in the best spots on the greens.
PS well done on your success with the Paddy Power share price and mathematics. |

I too can't wait - Think PP's offer is exceptional.
I've backed Rory (first time ever - with PP), Phil, Rose (Big fancy), Immelman, Couples & Choi. Backed Donald & Couples for first round leader and backed Casey & Tim Clark for the Par 3 t-ment. Best bets of the week are Rose top English player, Choi top Asian & Immelman top South African. Best of luck this week fellas ![]() |
By:

|

and backed Donald, Scott and Mahan. |
By:
Rose
Kuchar Baddeley |
By:
Bar one Racing have a great offer ew 1st 7 and money back if tiger wins
|
By:
just out of interest, any prices on a rory/tiger? tiger/rory? one two.... since this probably is the first time the two of them square up, in shape, in a biggie, and it's what golf would like to see, the two of them playing together in the last round.
Any prices? |
By:
FLOWERS HAVE A S/F MARKET
22/1 TIGGER/ROSY 25/1 ROSY/TIGGER |
By:
boils go 10/1 any order
|
By:
9/1 McIlroy with billies to a small few quid this morning
|
By:
McIlroy also 9/1 with Victor
|
By:
9/1 is big for Boy Wonder, you could lay off here then for a guaranteed profit!
|
By:
You have no chance of getting anything like enough on to make that worthwhile, although taking their price and laying off on here is exactly why you are not allowed much on in the first place.
|
By:
Rory heading towards 15/8 on the exchanges(5/4 books) in top GB+Ire market, looks a fair price considering it looks like he has only Donald,Westwood,Rose and maybe McDowell to beat.
|
By:
Donald not taking any chances. Pulled out of the Par 3 tournament.
|
By:
Rose not superstitious re: Par 3 contest, says he will go for it if in with a shout, might be worth a fiver?
