well folks usually at this time of year there are usually horses locally owned who have bin laid out to win at Galway. For once this year not heard anything here locally but was wondering if anyone else on here has. Best of luck for the week

Val O'Brien has a lot of horses in at the moment. His horses are running well and are defo worth a second look.
Maundy Money for David Marnane. Worth an ew bet in the Topaz mile.
It's been well tipped up but Fit The Cove is always one to back whatever his form is.

That maiden tomorrow night is a cracker. Interesting that JP O Brien is on Robin Hood and Heffernan on Alexander Pope. Prendergasts was well backed at the Curragh last time and Weld's was a big eyecatcher.

i was chating to friend today who was at JP's event in Adare manor. While there he had a marker and asked Ruby Walsh for his autograph which Ruby been the gent he is obliged but at the same time there was alot of people looking for Rubys autograph and Ruby offered 15 euros for the marker. My friend declined but instead asked for a horse for Galway and Ruby with no hesitation gave him Majestic concorde in the plate. It will be interesting if Ruby is part of RTE's coverage and repeats his confidence.

Fair dues to you Ramon for sharing the info. If the jockeys were switched I rackon he would have won it. Mikey Fogarty is the BEST 5 lb claimming amateur around.

2 track specialists who have tumbled down the weights since their visit here last year

8.05 Galway - Fit the Cove - been tumbling down the weights since winning twice at this meeting last year, well draw, ground will suit and a few bob around for it today, should be tough to keep out of the 3

6.20 Galway - My Valley - absolutely loves this track 4 wins a 2nd a 3rd and fell in 7 starts here, 2nd last year off a mark of 77 and racing off 67 here - once again well drawn and ground will suit

6/1 and 10/1 with Ladbrokes - 25 e/w double pays over 2100

I like Lac a Dancer E/W at a working mans price. Although a long standing maiden she is down to an attractive mark, good 5lb claimer, good draw and what I believe is her ideal trip. GL
