SUPER SOX is a promising filly and has the physique to continue improving. A half-sister to a Group-placed sprinter, she has progressed with racing and while she has 6lb to find with Matilda Picotte on ratings, hasn't reached her peak as yet and is suited by today's conditions. Matilda Picotte, who finished third in the 2023 English 1,000 Guineas, is already a Group 2 winner and finished second in this race last year. She finished fifth at Riyadh in February, then disappointed at the Curragh in May but showed better form when admittedly well enough held in a Deauville Group 1 last month. Thornbrook holds Wendla on July form at Leopardstown.

Brian. Thanks for posting this stat. I've been over it like a rash finding out that the jockey is due to be Bolgers stable jockey when Manning retires.
Cheers and good luck

Once the preserve of 3yos but from 2010 to last year horses older than 3yo at an SP less than 7/1 rated 97+ are 7 from 14 with the 2 highest rated at 112 and 113 both losers.

The draw is a concern no horse has won from 4 going back 2010 maybe if the jockey sticks with the favourite (next stall)
By the way it's family day at the course today. I'm not touching the race

Bet 365 offering 11/4 on a bet boost. Worth a tenner at that given that it is a better class horse than the rest. Maybe an improver might beat it but 11/4 is ok.

Can't believe what I saw there. Mad jockey ran its legs off 20 lengths clear on the turn and the poor thing walked the last half furlong. Not surprisingly got caught by an outsider. Didn,t Mr Ahern get banned for something like this ?
