That shot looking down the straight towards the stands. Crowd looks sparse; hardly anybody on the grassy bits and stand looked almost empty. I wanted to go today, but the racing quality was just too dire to drum up any support.

Generally **** racing at Epsom with the exception of Derby Trial day and the big meeting itself
I was at Epsom yesterday, we got a picnic bench table for six, where the Pimms bar used to be, and overlooking the winners enclosure opposite the jam stick.
We bagged it this after the first race which would have been a million back in the day.
I've never seen the track so empty before and was a lovely warm and sunny day as well.
£32.00 for four pints and a soda water didn't really help much regarding the low turn out.
