this time a 69 yr old, walking down a street, attacked from behind, one bite away from death. I saw this on local news and his arms and legs were ripped to shreds.

Penalties are nowhere near stiff enough. Dog should immediately be put down, and the owner given a minimum 10 years, but even if they catch up with them we know that isn't going to happen. Out of control they are just another lethal weapon, and it's not just this breed.

I'd put down all the owners of these dogs and send the dogs to a secure paddock.

These dogs weigh over 50kgs. Too strong to be controlled by a normal handler.

It makes it worse when so many who own them are irresponsible people as well.
