At the moment no City Of Troy or Auguste Rodin in the picture for AOB. Their colts this season could be mainly duds nothing to cheer about.

Totally sexist, surprising in this day and age that fillies do not get a mention.  They often do well in the St. Leger and have their own Triple Crown.

I think this is a good gesture from Fred. I also think it's genuine when he said to put something back into horseracing. I do not think any other bookie possibly with the exception of 365 will ever do this eg £2m prize for a Triple Crown winner.

And, I think it would be won by 2030 possibly with a bit of help/manipulation by a big stable.

Oh So Sharp didn't win the triple crown -she won the fillies triple crown -massive difference.

Yeah, cant knock Fred Done for this but it does amplify that racing is struggling to get those big corporate sponsors who are tending to shy away from sponsoring anything to do with animal sports. Seems they are running scared of negative woke social media attention.

Coates owns around half of Bet365. Her personal fortune is estimated at $5.2 billion, as of December 2022. Coates is unusual amongst high-net-worth individuals in taking the majority of her income as salary rather than dividends. In 2018 she was the highest paid woman in the world.

Ms Coates is worth all her competitors put together and more, and 10x the knowledge and ability of the sector than all the head honchos of bookies with public shareholders and not a vein of bookmaking experience.

Ms Coates and Mr Done are head and shoulders above rest of the sector in the UK.

So old baldy is putting so much back into British horseracing? Hmmmm! Who is going to benefit from increased prize money and bonuses (if won) in the Classics? Could it be a lot of rich Arabs and billionaire tax exiles? Get real. What about a bit more for the punters? More free bets, better place terms etc. That is what British punters need.

Fred should deal or deal it after the St Leger and say….you can have £2m or you gamble and try for £5m by winning the Arc as well Laugh
