Thought she timed it perfectly,i think she thought her side had it.
yes very poor ride i'm afraid , looking at head on and there was no need to switch.

No need to switch ..and if doesnt wins a length ..why do it ? Billy knew quicker far side too so better ground she was on but switched to slower..
A jockey can only ride against horses on his/her side in a finish like that. Billy made a great call to keep a straight line and was not influenced by what the others did. Hollie could only ride to beat the ones on her side and did so.
WALOFS the next 8 home behind Hollie all raced on the same side as she did. It was the faster side. The winner beat the favourite on his side and the favourite came 11th.
But you ride to your draw surely? That means that the winner is even more superior as he had nothing to race with.
