"And the usual pandering to every conceivable colour/race/gender".....I take it you have never been in a casino then....

Yes, many times but not for a few years
I remember being a high percentage of Asian customers

What I was referring to was the general way TV ads are made these days, whatever the product

The betting adverts of tv need to be culled totally. They are the pits of adverts. Sometimes they'd masquerade as Gambleaware. Totally no scruples.

The casino frequenters are not Asians. They are mainly Chinese (restaurants/takeaways) esp mondays - not South Asians eg Indians/Pakistanis/Sri Lankans. The Chinese are prolific and mad gamblers eg on roulette, they'd back literally every number bar 0; absolute banker's fav punters. The casinos feed them well - free food and drinks.

The out-of-town casinos exist very much because of them akin to fobt in high street betting shops.

Impossible, agree with you about the content of the TV ads

However, you say the punters are not Asian, as I said, but Chinese...
Chinese people are Asian
I used the term Asian to cover the majority of Chinese plus the smaller percentage of Indian sub continent people.

Looking at the recent Gambling adverts you would think there was a Gambling Problem among Non white communities ,the one  where a man thinks the dryers in a Launderette are a fruit machine, Very worrying TBH

There have been many others Such as a large mob in a takeaway all gambling on their Phones

Who in their right mind allowed quarrel put that latest abhorrent ad on TV? 15 nutters including grannies riding horses and playing on their phones looking for free bets. Not looking where they're going. Didn't know you were allowed look at your phone whilst riding or driving... incredible anyone in quarrel thinks its funny.

Bang on about the gambling adverts impossible. Truly  cringeworthy the lot of them, as you say masquerading as gambleaware and pretending they  oh so concerned. Vomit inducing stuff.
Worse still, heard that Paddy has signed up Boris Johnson for some ads on the Euros. My tv's going to be at risk of going through the window.

I would do the same ease, however I have no telly and no windows as I lost it all at the casino....

I'm not an avid horseracing fan. However, when one of this subliminal "Gambleaware" reminder comes up, and if not too late, I'd be tempted to look at my open position on The Exchange. I'd succumbed to it before.

To me these "adverts" are there to remind night-owls the bookies are open; come and have a bit of fun. The promotion of being a jackpot winner (from a small stake spin) could induce someone desperate and with financial issue to play. But, these scumbag bookies do not tell you the odds of hitting the jackpot.

These adverts need to be stopped immediately. Bookies must not be allowed to advertise esp online, period; terrestrial tv presenters must not sleep with bookies either.

Do not be fooled. Bookies run horseracing in the UK. The BHA does not!
