His 4 favourites at Newbury look hard to oppose and Rebaatt at Newmarket has been well backed, I'm thinking trebles and accas

Big fields, several likely to be ridden for luck, I found them quite easy to leave alone. It's hard enough to find one horse to win.

Hope you're wrong dd. My bankers are Desert Hero and Wiltshire. If they win, anything else is a bonus.

Desert Hero backed into 4/6,but is now drifting out 10/11,handy form should go close,Marquand winning plenty of first races of the day

Yep, looked cooked as soon as it got stuck on the inside. Ran like a drain tbh.

Very disappointing, the ground may well be the excuse, albeit a poor one.

Always another day driver. At least you put your opinion up before the events.

Penniless day for Marquand/Haggas backers. Some pathetic performances. Bookmakers permanently in clover.

Is he still affronted if anyone calls him Willie?

Haggas horses seem badly out of sorts
