One of those things with delicate horses legs i'm afraid. By the same token makes me feel sick when i see the MMA fighters having a leg broken and swinging usually after they've been kicked or tried to kick their opponent.

This was just a horrible accident howard.

I'd guess that if you a massive stable and get to the end of the season with a horse on a mark of 94 that you think is actually more like a 75 horse, then you may as well offload it to someone else for very little, and they can spend a season getting it back to a competitive mark or targeting claimers with it...
