Chapman Interviewing Moore After The Race....

Moore has gone up considerably in my estimation.

1.01 landed well done sparrow.

Struggles to hide his contempt for everybody imo - and some of his post-races interviews with "Sir Bob" (Cooper) are so awkward that they are pure comedy gold.

A great jockey but a huge loss to the Diplomatic Service.

A Chapman "interview" is all about him and his act and nothing to do with the person being spoken at.

I can't find the really funny/awkward ones - but this one is mildly entertaining. I believe Sir Bob had (probably accidentally) said something adverse about one of his previous rides.

Two sides to any interview. Side 1: the interviewer and Sparrow has it spot on: "amn't I a brilliant interviewer and if you don't mind I'll put in a useless thought or two of my own". (Remember, does he need a pair of blinkers, Sir Michael?) Side 2: the interviewee who may feel unsettled at any interview and only takes part because he feels he has to (he shouldn't: he's employed to ride horses , not give interviews). Probably the "oh no, not this muppet again" is relevant.

Arrogant as the 10.20 post…..same kind of ignorance……imo…

I've seen Moore show his true colours, he's just miserable and arrogant, maybe all the TV interviewers should ignore him,
that'll be a big statement. As for Chapman, i'm not a fan but prefer him to Thommo anytime

Check the manners of Tom Marquand and a good few others to mention compared to this…..

Marquand and Hollie are lovely, so is Callum Shepherd, my son works with his Godfather  and had a chat with him at Yarmouth races,
Had a right laugh with him. He always shows out now when he see's him at the courses

Oisin Murphy another proper nice guy.When i worked in a Yard he would come in and ride out a couple of Days a Week he always went out his way to be nice to everybody.

Young Egan a well mannered young man.

He generally gives a good interview on Irish television and is more relaxed and even smiles a little.
Perhaps he has more respect for the Interviewers and considers them more knowledgeable who ask pertinent
questions.

That Lester Piggott was a well mannered young man too.

You can't deny that Moore interviews are generally funny/entertaining - would be a dull world if everyone was nicey nicey
