Call me out by all means Somerset, the subject was done to death on here 15 or so years ago and in depth. The water table was simply reference to todays abandonment and that of the two occasions Yarmouth has abandoned in similar circumstances and being a very similar subsurface to Muss.Nothing anyone can control in either case and no amount of summer watering a year previous had any effect.
I think Ive offered some knowledge as to why tracks shouldnt overwater artificially. Todays abandonment at a track that physically and historically doesnt waterlog is therefore a strange one for me. I'm not here to be nasty to anybody so may I wish you a good Easter weekend.
