It's a weird stat, but you make the same level stake profit/loss if you bet horses that were pulled up last time as you would betting horses that won last time out ...... at most levels in horse racing, recent form means nowt - all that matters is "what was the plan?"

It`s not what u know but who u know. Racing has been crooked since racing began and always will be.

4/9 fav at Southwell not in first 3. Heaven help punters who just bet odds.

Those kind of results are why some punters make decent returns - that 4/9 favourite had potential form weakness, so no need to look at conspiracy there mac.
