The obvious starting point is Bring On The Night based on connections and his good second in this last year and tbf it is not a strong contest and 9/4 may look a gift after the race. However Ahorsewithnoname is lightly raced like him and identically rated and this could possibly be her last race as she is in foal.It could be a commercial decision to run her here and she won lto over hurdles although not a great race.

That probably means she has been kept ticking over for this and in theory a slight advantage in race fitness over the fav though with a Mullins horse it usually is just a theory. If she wins it would be fair to assume her foal will increase in value but I haven't been able to find the sire.Tbh she is only one I could see posing a threat to the fav and having seen plenty of after race comment when mares have won in foal there does seem to be some evidence that their hormones can spark some improvement.

She is 15/2 with Hills and Joe 8/1 5 places,as short as 6s with an extra place others, could be value imvho!!

Don't see it staying the trip to be fair. She didn't stay in the Cesarewitch over 2m 2f so don't see why she would thrive at 2m 4f??. She won at Cheltenham over that trip but obvs jump races are run at  a much slower pace than flat races. Her Cheltenham time was 5mins. Coltrane, who won this race last year, and i managed to back, did the 2m 4f around Ascot in 4mins 26 seconds. 34 Seconds faster.  At the age of 8 not sure she'll be showing us new tricks.
