The last running of the horse was blatant cheating... the racing world are watching ! In receipt of a stone ( including Dylan's claim) from the Hendo beast A BIG RUN IS EXPECTED !!
I have a longish list of reservations about this horse today - but I have still made it the foundation (banker) in a pile of each-way (place focused) shop bets. I have it at about 1.33 to place (assuming all 8 run!) so at 4/1 a fifth the odds (1.80), I have (probably foolishly) disregarded all of my reservations.
The market (on here) currently hates it!

The win price seems about right to me (after the drift) tbh - My bets are all framed around it placing only and it's a bit of a leap to have it down as the winner. The place market drift is much more of a concern as the relationship between the two is not necessarily linear in this type of betting heat.
As I said, I have a pretty long list of reservations about the horse - but the place market hating it is now top of that list above... the hanging, the two wind op's, the jockey, etc.

Held up in rear, headway 3 out, soon nudged along, went third but hung left after 2 out, went second final 110yds, no match for winner, eyecatcher (jockey said that his instructions were to drop in and get gelding to settle, take his time and creep into the race to try to finish in best possible position, having previously made a respiratory noise; he explained that having jumped slowly away in the hope to get gelding to settle and allow gelding a better view of hurdles, he became outpaced in early stages; he added that he felt it prudent to keep a hold of gelding's head after it had started to make a respiratory noise in back straight, a matter in which he reported at scales, in order to get gelding to finish his race; he further stated that gelding had started to hang and jump left-handed from bend turning into home straight and felt that when he was able to get gelding to race without hanging as badly, winner had gotten away from him and that he could not have made up the ground between them; therefore, he believed that gelding had obtained his best possible placing; trainer confirmed instructions given to jockey and added that he was satisfied with ride in the circumstances as he felt that gelding had been hanging badly left-handed; vet said a post-race examination failed to find any abnormalities, however a second examination revealed gelding to have slight heat in his left-fore) (op 5/1 tchd 13/2)
WONDER WHAT BILLY B0LL0CKS THEY WILL HAVE TO EXPLAIN TODAYS LACK OF EFFORT

If they geld him (again!), give him another couple of wind-op's and some headgear, he will win a low-grade handicap imo. And the same might also work on the horse!
