How do you stop it it restricting the amount of horses you see on the racecard. I want to see them all and not have to press the show more button all the time. Thanks

18 Runners show on my Desktop Screen - But far less on my 10 inch Tablet. But - What is this ... "have to press the show more button" ? Been on here for 20 years - and Never, ever, come across such a Button - or Message. ----------------- Just a thought - Are you viewing on a Laptop in some kind of Mobile mode? |

- Does Not appear on my Desktop or Laptop or Tablet Neither does it appear for poster - longbridge - too. Both of us know our way around the Desktop Betfair Market website inside out.... So - We cannot help you .... Because the OP is apparently experiencing a somewhat unique scenario. -------------- So - as we have both previously posted - The issue must be something to do with something like Mobile/Phone/App Access to the site - As - otherwise, there would be loads of other people posting about the same issue - most especially with the larger fields at Cheltenham this week The OP - Twoboyz - posted that he is on a Laptop - but as I intimated earlier, has he somehow loaded an App onto his Laptop, or something similar? Alternatively .... To start with - Twoboyz - What Browser are you using to access Betfair? I only ask, because - You have gone quiet .... and we are Intrigued - by all things to do with Betfair functionality. |

For Windows 10 ... Settings > then System > Should Default to 'Display' ... Lower down - 2d Box = 'Display Resolution' Open the Drop-Down Box ... Select different sizes - and play Away. ------------ Pleas DO tell us, accurately, though ... Just WHERE on the Betfair Market Frame - does this - 'Show More Runners' Box/Message Display/Appear ? |

Done all that. Makes no difference. On each market it shows only 10 horses. The show more button is right at the bottom of the last horse centrally

its happening to me also.google have .pulled the plug on window 7 users,and taken away chrome,i moved to microsoft edge supported by bing but they are also saying that they are going to pull the plug on windows 7 shortly.they only display half the fields on the betfair card.
both say i must download windows 10.The small print says there is no guarantee that a fee may be introduced for users. i think all the window 7 users (and there are millions world wide) will not except this.(my opinion) but in the meantime expect betfair to lose at least 60% of their customers if microsoft pull the plug at the end of the month.  |

Google chrome pulled the plug on windows 7 users last Sunday Night at 21.45 .They took the chrome version away from windows 7 users and replaced it with something called Google gg.if you try to download chrome again you get a warning from microsoft.if you continue and are successful and get back chrome you have to sign a contract with them ,that mentions a fee and you have to agree not to use windows 7.you can not get a full page on any site when you try to enter using the Google gg.
in other words its=use windows 10 and sign a contract with Google before you can enter any site. any page you enter is less than half the size it normally is.unless you download windows 10 and sign a contract. hope this helps  |

onlooker,how would i know all i said unless it happened to me,i know nothing about computers or internet.i can not place a bet on betfair on google since last Sunday night.how would i know about microsoft and bing unless it happened.how would i know that it says after the top ten horses in a race ,i have to click on a show more box .how would i know microsoft are about to pull the plug,how would i know that my lap top is out of support on updates for windows 7.

It was happening for me on the big field races at Cheltenham. I can see a 15-runner race ok. But if I look at the Masters Golf field, I only see 10 golfers, with a 'Show More' button (which shows the whole field when clicked, as it did with the Cheltenham fields).

it's everywhere on the sportsbook, so maybe it has been partially implemented on the exchange. btw this is another example of developers who are clueless about betting, coming about with "ideas" to justify their paycheck.

We MAY now have a possible answer, here. Firstly, though - a Question - to those who are seeing this 'Show More Runners' Box ... Do you NO LONGER have a Vertical SCROLL BAR at the Right-Hand side of the Market - between the Pink Lay Prices and the 'Bet Slip'- to simply bring an extended Runners field up the Market Frame? - or - can you not simply Scroll the Runners UP & Down using your Mouse Wheel? - or (Heaven forbid, for betting) - are you using 'Touch Screen' - and cannot Scroll the Runners Up & Down, by finger slide. * ALL of the above I can still do - As has been FOREVER on Betfair - The First 2 on my Desktop Computer - The Touch Screen on my Tablet (although I have a separate Mouse attached to that back-up/emergency Tablet anyway, when not out and about) ** Both my Desktop and Tablet are using WINDOWS 10 - ged says he is on WINDOWS 11. Given that the majority will STILL be using WINDOWS 10 - and the Majority appear to be UNaffected by, and NOT seeing this 'SHOW MORE RUNNERS' Box ... Then could it be a WINDOWS 11 DISPLAY issue - ONLY? |

I would guess with phones, it is to stop someone accidentally clicking on a selection when trying to scroll down using a touchscreen, but that is just sloppy work, as it should be easy to tell whether the device is a phone.
btw I put a bet on the sportsbook last week as they were 8 places in one of the hamdicaps. I wanted to back three horses and had to close down the bet window after each one. Once again someone who hasn't a clue about betting coding a betting site. |

I get exactly the same thing on my desktop (Windows 10, Chrome).
Masters Golf - 10 golfers. Scroll bar, but nothing to scroll to other than a Betfair logo. 'Show more' button to see rest of field. |
