It looked like the lay of the day at Newbury when it was around 4/1-9/2 or so.
It is 15lb higher than it's last run at the track and that is the underlying reason for the big drift IMO
Highest winning mark I believe was its last run at 143? Up to a mark of 158 today.
No question the hoss loves the track but surely the H'cap mark will stop it in its tracks.

Gemirande could well get an easy lead here and nick it from the front. Zanza 13/8 [3 pl] on the machine could be the way in as it'll most likely be out the back and stay on for a place.

Looked as if the distance was too short on that ground, but it was a terrible ride. Even winning he is not a horse that does it on the bridle you have to be at him not sitting up in the saddle like an amateur.
