didnt watch from far enuff back..winner has came across 2nd 1st but long way out..then 3rd edged left..im saying stands.

Betfair settle too early once again. No other sport do they settle before official result.

winner caused the 1st bump then the 3rd caused the 2nd bump

Disgraceful there was no betting on this.  People couldn't get out of their original bets/trades.  Not good enough

it was a stupid move by townend to aim his horse towards the other horses at the beginning of the home straight but more damage was done by rachel at the second last

its amazing how many technical errors betfair have when the market operators fall asleep wayne?

turned down by our by our Trading Team as they have been getting a right doing playing their own 'keep the race?' markets due to a being sh1t issue

winner apparently was 1.2 to keep on daq.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the last fence involving Amirite, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed third, Ramillies ridden by P. Townend, placed first, and Thedevilscoachman, ridden by B.J. Cooper, placed second, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence B. J. Cooper, stated that he felt pressure from both sides approaching the last fence. Rachael Blackmore, stated that her mount slipped on approaching the last fence causing interference which she had reported at scales as required under the provisions of Rule 213. P. Townend, stated that he felt he was keeping a straight line at the time of contact approaching the last fence. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and did not apportion blame to any rider in relation to this incident.

Furthermore the Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference shortly after the second last fence involving Ramillies, ridden by P. Townend, placed first, and Thedevilscoachman, ridden by B.J. Cooper, placed second, where it appeared that Ramillies moved right into the path of Thedevilscoachman causing interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence B. J. Cooper, stated that he felt there was a gap he was entitled to go through having jumped the second last fence and as he filled the gap he received pressure from his inside causing him significant interference and momentum which caused him to check back. P. Townend, stated that he moved back to his right having jumped left at the second last fence to regain his racing line and felt he made every effort to straighten his mount when he felt contact with the horse on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence and in particular the margin of a neck between both horses at the finish, the Raceday Stewards formed the view that Ramillies had caused interference to Thedevilscoachman and as a result of this interference had improved it’s finishing position. The Raceday Stewards therefore reversed the placings of the first two horses and amended the result

Was very surprised they changed it - no doubt there was interference after two out and maybe a small ban for Townshend was in order, but the first past the post won snuggly enough at the line.

Ramillies had more left I reckon. BC said the 2nd was the best horse in the race - why did it not win so - 4 runners in a 4 horse race gets boxed in. WM in his interview asked what was BC doig in that position. I also agree GOB and possibly his co-comentator were talking through their pockets

after 2 out ?  so the runner-up only had over a quarter of a mile to make up the tiny amount of ground it may or may not have lost ...

if one bumps into another at the start of a race, do the stewards go back to that if it's a close finish ??  got beaten a head but lost half a length, track position and momentum at the start ...
