I can't agree Different , I was there yesterday and was really impressed with her, in the paddock she was simply outstanding and if you didn't know you could have mistaken her for a colt or gelding so looked that good, make no mistake this is some Mare and I'd be very disappointed if she gets beat this season, her jumping was electric at some of the fences .

Well Cheltenham should answer the question as to who is right.
I saw the Mullins interview and it was obvious he was worried about the jumping going left handed. By the end of the day Walsh had also downgraded his original comment. The only thing I can see in her favour is it's a poor division, but come March they will be much better than this lot, and likely you can't lose ground at every fence. Given pace pressure she could forfeit even more ground. My guess would be she won't even place. |

these horse that are exuberant to me alwasy come unstuck at Cheltenhman. If she is that buzzy in a low profile meeting imagine what the festival will do to her? Will go off way too fast imo - make mistakes jumping or just run out of steam coming up hill. Impervious is excatly the opposite. and will destroy her imo. Slick jumper who races settled and looks to finish races really well as a stayer. Dont confuse who a horse looks and flashy jumping at a few fences vs the ability to settle conserve energy and not get lit up and race too freely. Impervious will be my biggest bet of week anything over 6/4.

my guess is Impervious will be 5/4 on the day and ADV could go 9/4

By:
Racing6699 I watched her from the moment she came into the paddock nearly until they mounted and she was as calm as could be, so were your buzzy is coming from I don't know . If you want I'll take 9/4 for £300 off you .

She was really keen i thought in the race

I am a big fan of Impervious but this Allegorie DV has a serious engine and I wouldn't be that worried about the jumping
the time merchants give Allegorie DV the edge she could be one of those Mr Mulligan/Carvills Hill/Rushing Wild types that goes out and blazes the opposition away I don't agree that the prices will change much but the Impervious place price could be shorter relatively as she would be the safer option if Impervious drifted, could be stonking e/w poke at 5 to 2 or so |

I haven't backed anything myself in the Mare's Chase.
Just gone back and had a look at a couple of her previous runs. There was nothing much to note in her last hurdles run at Auteuil. Certainly no obvious jumping to the right. At Limerick she was pretty exuberant, but her jumping was fine until the second last. For no obvious reason she has made a mess of that fence, and she was again iffy at the last. It just makes you wonder if she possibly scared herself at the first in Thurles. In an ideal world I think you would want her to have another run, preferably left handed, before Cheltenham. I suppose there a chance she could meet every fence spot on, but you are going to have it in your mind what will happen if she clouts one. |
