Gob was only on today because punchestown was cancelled johnny already had the gig and works freelance,he also has work commitments on podcast off the ball an Irish sports and current affairs programme,he has worked for rtè racing in the past assisting Brian Gleeson and may have done other roles for them.
He probably has print work in some Irish news paper either national or regional and comes across as a decent fella and hard worker,he had plenty of time for me when we met in leopardstown while he was working for rtè same can't be said for Gleeson,johnny gives impression he won't be overshadowed (like I'm no big name but can do a job) by anyone and it won't go to his head,the kind of guy if you offered a pint would accept as he just has time and manners for other people

Gleeson is an ignorant ****. Absolutely no idea why he gets the TV time he does. Can't say one sentence to someone without the obligatory 'the man from (add town). Totally full of himself when at the races off camera.
