Marquand is as good as anyone you care to mention. Top class.

Marquand has lost far more races he should have won than Buick, Marquand give too many of his mounts too much to do whereas Buick is far more tactical aware.
Also, there is a big difference in their profit/loss to a level stake. |

FrankRA is right in his succinct analysis of Marquand. Buick has just confirmed himself best of a very bad lot. Both jocks benefit from riding plenty of horses that have pounds, if not stones in hand. Marquand 'never panics' just emphasises how people just see things they want to see. It should fool nobody unless they actually like losing money.
