Good choice. I wasn't at York, but i was at Ascot for the QA. I could have added this race, but actually i could add quite a few, as i guess we all could given some thought.

What a tough question that is, I could pick one of several from different sports and change my mind tomorrow.
If pushed, I would say Devon Malcolm bagging 9 for 57 against South Africa at the Kennington Oval in 1994.
It was an amazing, almost surreal day of sport.

Madhatters getting out of Fraudy's back passage and Ryanwe being arrested getting out the back of a sheep and the Police Officer accepting it was less embarassing than being being caught getting out of the back of rico's Tranny and a warning as long as he did not do it again.
Ryanwe promised on the Tranny but accepted the sheep would always be in danger!!!

Back in 1957, I got on the tube to White City to go and watch the Athletics, a boyhood passion. I paid the entrance and bought my penny cushion and sat on the steps and waited. Like most others, I was waiting to see if Derek Ibbotson could run the mile in under 4 minutes, which was still a great achievement back then. Ibbotson didn't disappoint, he clocked a new World record, the crowd went mad and I went home knowing that I'd just seen something very special. I've seen some great live performances since, but that was the first.
