the winner has drifted left and 2nd although a yd away has followed until last fur when the winner straightened and 2nd continued drifting left..winner won comfy..in no way it effected the outcome.

Remember a race many years ago with Pat Eddery up  for Abdulla which was carried from the near side right the way across to the far rail inside the final furlong beaten a sh hd and the stewards did nothing and it was the full width of the course not tonight's narrow finish

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following interference from approximately two furlongs out involving the winner, SPACE TRACKER (IRE), ridden by William Buick, and BLING ON THE MUSIC, placed second, ridden by Kieran Shoemark. The Stewards found that the interference had not improved the placing of SPACE TRACKER (IRE) as BLING ON THE MUSIC, despite being moved off a line, had lost no momentum, Shoemark never had to stop riding, and the colt never appeared to be making any ground on the winner, nor headed him at any time. In addition, the second placed horse shifted left-handed towards the rail of its own accord inside the final half furlong, and with a neck between the two horses at the line, the Stewards could not be satisfied that BLING ON THE MUSIC would ever have beaten SPACE TRACKER (IRE). The interference was found to be accidental as SPACE TRACKER (IRE) had shifted left-handed despite Buick’s best efforts to correct him.
