I haven't seen that many but it was Deacon Blue in the Castlegate Aberdeen about 12 years ago. The were superb. It was Hogmanay I may add. Your choice?

Mine is still the Savoy Brown Blues Band, opening for Jethro Tull at the Dome Brighton in 1970.

Not a bad quick list but them I am old

I was never much of a fan of Bruce Springsteen but there was a spare going in our group to see him at Wembley stadium, July 4th 1985 and I thought what the hell, I'll go.
It was easily the best live performance I've ever seen, he absolutely rocked the place senseless.

You're correct there Longbridge, it was that tour indeed. Like others on here I've seen lots of top bands but that concert was way beyond any other.
On a lesser scale I've seen Carter USM many times at the Brixton Academy and always loved seeing them live as well.

Dylan at Earls Court the year he played Blackbushe
Springsteen at Wembley arena, might have been 85 like Slippy , he played Born in the USa on an acoustic with a slide, (that bit was s***,though). He finished with 'If I fall behind' with all the band singing their solo parts, Nils Lofgren sings like an angel (plays guitar like the devil)
Thin Lizzy at Lancaster Uni probably about 1977
Like John Smith now, folkie guitar player, seen him 4 times, best one in Leicester in a pub with about 20 people. Saw him first time when he supported John Martyn, another hero

I saw Depeche Mode a good few times and they were always excellent more so in the latter years with Ultra and Violator.
Awful news this morning is that the D.M. keyboard player and founder member Andy Fletcher has died aged 60.

Stiff Little Fingers - several locations but Capital Theatre Aberdeen 78 the first and therefore biggest impression - and almost 45 years later I'm going to see them in Cork in August followed by two days at Killarney (first trip there) - heaven is a place on earth...
