@hulk123 -- the reason Pricewise is "still in cahoots with the bookies, still telling him which races to tip one in" is that, historically, the books did not price up every race, so Pricewise could only cover the races they put in their adverts in the paper.

Now that bookies do price up most races and do not advertise prices in the paper, there is more scope but PW still needs the books to supply prices for the price grids, so to that extent they do still choose which races Pricewise considers.

But now there will typically be twice as many races priced up as there are tips.

So in short, your complaint is kind of true but spectacularly misses the point.
