He couldn't believe Davy went so slow on a stayer. Then he said to confound it he rode the s*** outve the horse from 2-3 out which will take the horse ages to recover from. Imop the winner would've hacked up whatever way it was run but refreshing to hear an ex jockey pundit not afraid to criticise.

i used to enjoy rte but cant pick it up any more since they changed their transmission frequency. mangan and the walsh mob always worth a listen.

Carrot1960 don't think the OP would argue about Davys capability as a jockey and this is why Ted commented on the ride.
But as long as you're happy with the imbeciles on ITV that's OK then

There isn't a correct solution, as Walsh (and his son now) pretty much know that they can be critical of an Irish jockey, and the Irish jockey won't throw the toys out of their pram.

If an English person said that on ITV, they are in theory jeopardising Russell talking to ITV again.

I'm not saying that is correct, but that is the reality.

Ted must have got out of the bed the wrong side yesterday because he also lambasted the horse that refused in the cross country chase,absolutely lost the plot he did.
