5 runners so why 3 places? Never seen that before

Up until 2 years or so ago they always done the extra (3) places for 5 runner races. Considering we have so many small fields now it beggers belief that they dont include them again. Id say this is just a mistake. The maiden race in ireland had 4 places - and not 3.
The main place market is 2TBP like you'd expect - do you mean why the additional 3TBP?
It looks to have matched 50% more money than the 2TBP so maybe BF are on to something?

The 3 to place would always turn over a decent amount in the 4 or 5 runner races (late non runner) But some bright spark at BF did'nt care less and pulling the plug on them. I emailed them numerous times to get them reinstated but it was like banging your head against the wall.
Maybe they don't need the extra - must be raking it in now after dropping the minimum stake to £1
