Better off paying 2% commission on the exchange and bet your multi with someone who offers bog.

How are Betfair notifying this change to T&C? I haven't received an email and nothing on the web site.

This is rubbish, who are they trying to fool, I got little email telling me I will be better off, you are better off in the high street bookies then, Sportsbook is pointless then

What you 'sacrificed' - When allotting for 2% Commission - was the right to PROMOTIONS - Such as the  'Cash Races' etc - and NOT  'Concessions' on Sportsbook.

So let me clarify with someone who DOES bet with Sportsbook. If you opted for the 2% commission on the exchange, you still get BOG on Sportsbook?

Onlooker is correct. If one opted in for 2% commission, then BOG on Sportsbook was withdrawn with immediate effect.

I didn't receive the email and can't find anything about this on the website. Not exactly notifying this change in plain sight is Betfair. I constructed a double multiple bet and sure enough the double bet does not have a BOG icon, where as the singles do. Admittedly I don't often do multiple bets on Betfair but not sure what I am getting for my 5% commission package nowadays.

ITV 3/1+ free bet is long gone?? Money back if horse goes odds-on in play and loses also long gone??

So if I go to the basic 2% plan all I am giving up is BOG on singles in the Sports bet and a £2 free accum bet if I have 20 qualifying bets on the exchange???

Yes - That is the situation NOW ... But has that ALWAYS been the case, though?

The email that we have all JUST received - apparently whether you do/or never have bet on Sportsbook is a NEW email.

It is NOT a 'Just a Reminder' email .

We NEVER received a 'BOG is being Withdrawn' email, or similar - when we signed up for 2% Commission - BUT ...

We Did then forfeit our right to PROMOTIONS such as 'Cash Race' etc... apparently misconstrued by some as being Concessions.

THAT was my original point - that appears to have been missed by many - and remains so.

If it was -  " made clear" - 'when you signed up' ... and I do NOT have recollection of such (although, it May well have been) - But I DO have recollection of our PROMOTIONS Forfeit - tat being an entirely different element than Concessions.

Just very occasionally betboost makes a difference but then £25 max kicks in. It's hardly worth the effort of looking. I should just set commission to 2% and be done with it.

It’s not Betfair research. It’s extensive research. I.e either the accountant or some bloke in a pub last Tuesday.

But don’t worry.money back if your horse fails to place is replacing it. Great. Oh hang on. 1 race a day only. Today 1.15pm 5 runners.2 places. Odds on fav.

You’d think they’d pick the Betfair hurdle given its the first day this useless offer is being applied then slowly slip into 5 runner races going forward.

But no.

Baldfred the only firm offering this now. Presume he ll follow suit.

Why don’t bookies just stop offering odds. And state if you back a winner. You ll get an email saying well done.

Case-in-point Newbury 1:15 money back if selections fails to place. Pats Fancy (my selection), 7/2 Betfair but 5/1 most other bookies. Every selection I want to back today is a lower price with Betfair than Bet365, making the betboost offer irrelevant. Betfair exchange liquidity as usual is awful this time of day. A complete waste of time even looking at prices on this site.
