I stand to be corrected here, and I hope I'm not putting more ideas into their heads, but wasn't it the case that if you opted for the 2% commission you lost the sportsbook concessions anyway?

What do you get for the 5% reduction now? It is either 2% or 8% with 10% of your losses back. No brainer. Take the 2% and do the multiples with Denise. |

Yes, got the email this morning. Extensive customer research determined that customers would like less value! Pull the other one Betfair! Absolute disgrace. Where is the report of this research? I wasn't asked about it.

But, I have still had the email - - despite NEVER having had a bet on the Sportsbook What you 'sacrificed' - When allotting for 2% Commission - was the right to PROMOTIONS - Such as the 'Cash Races' etc - and NOT 'Concessions' on Sportsbook. |

Onlooker is correct. If one opted in for 2% commission, then BOG on Sportsbook was withdrawn with immediate effect.

I didn't receive the email and can't find anything about this on the website. Not exactly notifying this change in plain sight is Betfair. I constructed a double multiple bet and sure enough the double bet does not have a BOG icon, where as the singles do. Admittedly I don't often do multiple bets on Betfair but not sure what I am getting for my 5% commission package nowadays.
ITV 3/1+ free bet is long gone?? Money back if horse goes odds-on in play and loses also long gone?? So if I go to the basic 2% plan all I am giving up is BOG on singles in the Sports bet and a £2 free accum bet if I have 20 qualifying bets on the exchange??? |

It's been clarified and anyone on the basic 2% can go to their accounts and see confirmed that if you are on this option, then you do not get BOG on Sportsbook.

The email that we have all JUST received - apparently whether you do/or never have bet on Sportsbook is a NEW email. It is NOT a 'Just a Reminder' email . We NEVER received a 'BOG is being Withdrawn' email, or similar - when we signed up for 2% Commission - BUT ... We Did then forfeit our right to PROMOTIONS such as 'Cash Race' etc... apparently misconstrued by some as being Concessions. THAT was my original point - that appears to have been missed by many - and remains so. |

If you signed up to it then it was made clear, which is why some us who rarely use Sportsbook remembered, and others who use Sportsbook regularly stated it. But feel free to keep digging. And here's a tip, in future before you start 'shouting' at people that they're "INCORRECT", perhaps you should try getting your facts straight first? |

If it was - " made clear" - 'when you signed up' ... and I do NOT have recollection of such (although, it May well have been) - But I DO have recollection of our PROMOTIONS Forfeit - tat being an entirely different element than Concessions. Then Why the Need to send those who "signed up" an email NOW - saying that 'BOG is being withdrawn' ... When/If we never had that facility in the first place - as you somewhat strongly intimate. Surely that is an entirely logical both Valid question and observation. Why the continued aggressive contention. |

Had a look George but couldn't find anything in my spam folder. tbh not bothering with Betfair Sports very often as this betboost shyte seems to result in the prices always being lower than Bet365 or even Skybet on occasions. Just very occasionally betboost makes a difference but then £25 max kicks in. It's hardly worth the effort of looking. I should just set commission to 2% and be done with it.
