Strange betting patterns = strange race. Another bad taste in the mouth.
I advised to lay the fav and back Maid, easiest race of the day.
Asked for a 25 ew double with Joe, first leg Maid O'Malley at 8/1 ... refused. Asked for the same as a ew single. Offered 10 ew. Backed it with Paddy for the other 15 (2 places). Looking at the race before and the jockeys and now having rewatched the replay! Hope the other horses' owners were on.
