Sounds good t'me Rico. My wife insists on a christmas dinner and I say "yeah, whatever". Not complaining obviously. But a plate of pie and mash would suffice.

surely it is not a crime to be looking out for clues about one of the biggest racing days of the year? I am still holding off from betting until the weather/going is clearer and the over rounds drop to 105%. There is only so much Xmas I can take in one day.

There was a nice 7 race jumps card at Cagnes-sur-Mer today (Xmas Day), top prize race for €60k, decent prizemoney through the card ...shame I couldn't attend this year because of the Macron ban on UK visitors (even though I own property there). First race was 11:05 UK time.
Flagged up on my mobile this morning ... 5 years ago today, 2016, I was there. Entrance €5 all enclosures (50% discount for over 60's), free parking ... temperature about 12C ... free glass of champagne and a mince pie for all racegoers, kids got toys from Santa. Crowd of about 2,500. Very enjoyable Xmas day with a decent meal afterwards.
Makes our UK racecourses look piss poor ...
"Joyeuse Noel" to all on here !!
