No open bets but funds taken out of balance

Product status,everything working except the exchange!

sportsbook working fine, im shocked. NOT!

cannot even refresh balance now or see it anywhere.

I'm £130 down in missing bets

Three times I deposited, three times I bet Catch My Breath to finish in first two, three times money taken from my balance and same as above. None of my three bets are showing up. And of course all three bets are winning bets. wtf is going on. If the Void all bets I'm out of here. Was my main bets of the day.

... Was my Nap Today Mac, bet it twice in the 3 to place market, money taken bets showing as taken, then disappear.

  Also backed it to win with a lay in keep bets at 1.37 witch says unmatched. !!

themightymac similar here i asked a priority agent and here is his response As much as I would love to provide concrete answers, at the moment I am unable to because even the internal systems are down and I am unable to review your bets or the account.

Surely all bets must be voided when something like this happens?

whippin totally agree but with betfair you have no faith anything could happen
try having a conversation with someone at betfair and they whip out a highly questionable t and c rule it is hard

got money back for all dodgy unmatched bets when site down alls ok

Agree B, all unmatched bets void but as far as I'm concerned my bets were all matched. Money was deducted from my balance immediately and bets initially displayed as matched until disappearing minutes later.

usually the customers suffer from betfair's severe failings to keep their site working correctly and any matched bets stand and are settled accordingly, which leaves the majority of us losing due to not being able to trade. It's about time they employed people who are capable of maintaining the site and spent money updating the site.

Why am I still waiting for my bets to be returned?

Bets were placed, funds were taken out of account but no matched bets show up so what happens now?

I'm down a fair bit with these missing bets, where is my funds?

Our Sportsbook and Gaming products are now back up online. We are still experiencing issues with our Exchange which is currently being investigated.  Apologies for any inconvenience that this is causing.

12.10 ling not sure of exact time as placed on gruss

go to my betfair account then exchange betting history then voided closed markets it will tell the exact time you placed your bet

or cancelled in your case

i'm not logged on to the betfair account, as I said I use gruss.

I got paid, then they took part of it back, then they took money for a losing jump get that I didn't even place. ffs this is bordering on the ridiculous.

I had a losing bet on the 12.10 but the stake was taken 5 times.  Clicking 'My Bets' showed no bets so I must have retried 4 times.  I can accept one losing bet but not 5.  I'm guessing layers have been paid out for all 5 bets.  Any chance I'll get a refund ?

same ; if you go to "My Account" then "My Betfair Account" you should have a figure sitting in exposure that is your missing funds

The YTS lad settles the market
Then the Graduate Trainee has a turn
Then the Deputy Head of Settlement has a go
The Director of Settlement gets involved
Beryl from the canteen eventually sorts it all out

Beryl has text me to say she is on the late shift today!

I backed One Journey for £80 and the message error bet not placed appears. I repeat and get the same message. Both bets are now deemed losers and Betfair are not interested. I am and will take further action as they have stated they have not been placed. My account statement and account balance are way out even allowing for this and I cant find the discrepancy. Horrible company these days and have no duty of care to their customers.

I've been told my "bets" that never were are being reviewed...by Downing Street. I suspect they'll report there was no system problem and had there been it would have been resolved following all of the relevant guidelines.
Anyway, I'm not betting until I get my refund...saved a fortune so far!

One consolation is we're not the Post Office or we'd probably be locked up by now

Did you get your money back ?  That would do for me.  It was a huge foul up and must take ages to resolve.

is there any chance that what's happened is you've had bets matched which you placed as/just after it went down which did get settled but were not on your betting account, so in effect bf can see them and they've settled but that information is missing from your history? the reason i ask is yday was weird, prices were still available and were moving, normally it just freezes, i tried to place a bet and nothing appeared to happen but it may actually have been dropping in and the site wasn't letting that appear on your history

My complaint has been referred to traders yesterday afternoon. Further online conversation this morning where again it is in the hands of the traders!There is a written admission that due to a technical issue my bet was placed twice. Really very unhappy with this and they seem reluctant for me to follow a complaints procedure but equally reluctant to deal with the issue. £160 out of pocket and my account balance is also wrong.

both my lays were matched at 12.07 for the 12.10.  gruss only showed the liability for the first one at the time of the crash, hence I thought only one was matched ansd settled.

Placing multiple bets due to the Exchange interface being non responsive is my issue too.

No bets for almost 25 hours now and no more until I get my refund.  The cold turkey isn't that bad!
