My debit card has less than 4 days expiry and i am unable to withdraw back to my bank account.

Presumably you have a new card, just add that. remove the old card and you will be able to withdraw to the new one.

Think the account of an expired card can receive payments up to 2 years after card expires as long as its not reported lost stolen and account number and sort code remain the same.
To do with retail sales/refunds ect. So there is a process,might take longer. |
