you must have been typing that all the way round

Throughout the whole race he was three lengths further back than he needed to be

He would still have won imop if he didn't panic at the last two hurdles. Nearly put the horse on the deck.
|
By:
grate ryed. laid it.

You wonder if it was on purpose, surely no one can be that inept. Sadly, probably the latter
wd mitolo, will keep your losses down a bit |
By:
so if you knew he was far too back did you lay it ? ( with the winner cruising near the front )
|
By:
Thing is he only got so close because of weak pushing out by winner's jock but of course he was claiming 10lb.
|
By:
Reckon he got so close because the horse had far more left to give than the winner imo
|
By:
2nd is not entirely genuine outbattled last time and switched headgear today. Not one to take a short price on especially a very short price IR. Suggest you remember that advice.
|
By:
Taking advice off you, howard. Thanks but no thanks
|
By:
You forgot to add the horse has won 3 out of its last 6 runs
Not one I'd call ungenuine |
By:
I backed it james and made a thread. Worse than Starkey on Dancing Brave.
|
By:
Comments from when it won at sedgfield, stewarty......not exactly ungenuine is it? Rallying back to win after being headed!!
1 9. SERGEANT (FR) 9/4 Fav 4 10-3 p 84 held up in rear, smooth headway before 3 out, chased leaders 2 out, pressed leader on bridle after 2 out, led before last, not fluent, ridden and headed 110 yards out, rallied to lead again close home |

Real shame that was the final race on the card. Mitch's next ride would have been a double max banker bet on the "BFJB Plan"
|
By:
Did nothing wrong, winner was always doing enough
|
By:
I thought I was looking at the wrong horse for a while. At the back and it goes odds on..
|
By:
unfair critisism imo..horse runs that way every time..was 2-3L down 3 out ..winner was better horse on day won comfy.

I thought I was looking at the wrong horse for a while. At the back and it goes odds on.. thats how its ridden..aint you ever noticed? WAC |
By:
*criticism
|
By:
Was too far off them throughout. He's gave the winner an easy lead and got done for first run.
They werent exactly going overly fast. Might get away with that if they were going fast upfront Best horse was 2nd |
By:
Don't be surprised if the winner is out again in the next 7 days. Won a bit snugly IMO
|
By:
If a horse has ability it can win without trying if it's rating is well in front of/above the others. James don't be so nasty. Only trying to help.
|
By:
I do think the jock should have been a touch closer bearing in mind the winner wasn't deadwood like the rest. But I dont like the horse ( 2nd ) and stand by that.
|
By:
runs this way ev time..comes lagging..winner holding it comfy last 100yds till jock eased it.
|
By:
must stand
market swiped late on |
By:
wrong thread
fair enough, agree to disagree this time |

Race was run quite slowly (more than 2secs slower than first race which was a 5-runner maiden). You could see that was the case because the runners bunched up approaching the third last flight. Horse needs a decent pace to show its best. Better to back or lay in running depending on how fast they are going.
