Some compensation for Lingfield though, swifty.....

Despite losing one of its marquee fixtures, Lingfield will not be without a Good Friday card as the track will host the inaugural All-Weather Vase meeting.

Worth £395,000 in total prize-money, the meeting will offer horses who regularly run on the all-weather circuit, but which may not be rated high enough for the Finals Day card, the opportunity to compete for a valuable end-of-season prize.

I guess so, thought it might be rotated but clearly not. I hate Newcastle for betting.

Lingfield I such a tight track and I agree Newcastle is a minefield for punting but can't help feel moving if to there is the right thing to do.

Far fairer than Lingfield and will be interesting to see how it goes

Move from Lingfield might be linked to a new 3 day meet at Lingfield in Jan (2 days jump and one flat) worth £1m. See news on ROA website https://www.roa.co.uk/resources/news-and-views/arc-announce-4-000-000-prize-...

let's hope Southwell quickly takes off and it can move again to there.

The inaugural ‘Winter Million’ fixture will see two days of jump and one day of flat racing at Lingfield Park from 21 to 23 January. With jump racing on Friday and Sunday, and the new Coral Winter Oaks headlining Saturday’s flat card, the three days will offer a minimum of £1,000,000 in prize money.

What are the chances of the 2 jump cards surviving the weather? Lingfield have been unable to stage about 50% of their jump fixtures for the last few years, always waterlogged.

That's right mrcombustible and about the last place to stage a valuable jumps card in January.
