Interestingly do you think the Irish carrot stash on the whole av been found...AKA CHELT...or just purely a combo of better horses with better hcap marks?

And at one point he was on course to at least equal the G1 record.

lots of group winners, but it seems like people think he cheated.  it would be catostrophic for racing if he was.

Hasn't anyone read the papers? Plenty of magic carrots & thaumaturgic (now there's a word for you) turnips available. Just no drivers to deliver them to Ballydoyle. I hope this clarifies the matter!

Annie's sons are worth at least a billion each, and will soon be winning the gold cup,and the champion hurdle, and i am sure AP will still win 8 OR 9 derby's +,over the next few years,so don't panic, the rainbows are still hanging above the county of Tipperary.GrinGrin

Just a 5% strike rate at this time of year suggests all is not well with the horses.

He is always slow to get going because his horses are not trained for the off and are allowed to develop gradually through the year.

Maybe his lot are just not as hardy this time round.

Nothing to do with Jim Bolger demanding a level playing field...

I would hope not Emitdeb.

After the cycling and athletics scandals with doping with humans

I do hope not Emitdeb, but I get your drift.

Sorry for that garbage.

Hope there is no doping going on. Just trying to point out a probable reason.

imagine 2 match handicap races between love and snowfall based on their worst v best marks, they,d both be receiving stones from the other in one division

I recently read one of those ' black horse is dying' books
The guy worked at a Coolmore stud farm
The book I read was mainly about trainers and their use of drugs in the US but also touched on Ireland
Didn't make good reading, if it's true and imo it looks like it is then you wouldn't be cheering home any Coolmore horses
The IHRB also comes out as not fit for purpose along with the entire judicial system

i think it would be a disaster if jim bolger was right. all those group 1s tainted, not to mention all those runners up wanting their due prize money.i personally hope bolger is wrong

Nevertheless, the bookies are still skinny on his runners. Anyone noticed the price of his runner in Keeneland at the weekend? That piglet was sent off fav, and bombed badly.

Money back on Luxembourg in the Vertem? At 6/4 it takes a shed load of shekels to win the same (if he wins).

Which makes you wonder…if they’re not firing Stateside then it’s clearly not a drug issue Wink

No smoke without fire, as the saying goes. Then again a horse cannot outperform their proven potential if entered in the wrong race similarly, a Conference team cannot win the Premier League.

'A' Chemistry?
By:

When: 19 Oct 21 20:28
no. B. All champion trainers in their respective countries.

And what is the difference?
By:
impossible123
When: 20 Oct 21 11:56
I meant A level Chemistry.

The American case is still on-going (I believe) and trainer concerned is still allowed to run his charges at certain tracks but with more stringent testing prior. Is that not absurd? I thought there's a recognised protocol/code in horseracing issued by the Horse Racing Authority understood, signed-up and accepted by trainers and owners, and is definitive.

Otherwise it culd be a free-for-all or those trainers/owners with deep pockets playing the system,
By:
swiftynifty
When: 20 Oct 21 12:45
Baffert has been playing the system for years. We all know drugs are rampant, mostly legal and out of competition within certain timelines but sadly the reality is some bend the rules more than others.
