On the Nick Luck Show ,he said Murphy makes far to many c0ck ups and it's only because he is such a good talker(Bullsh1ter) that keeps him at the top.Shocked

And that is why he hopes Buick wins the title.

I love the guy but i thought he was very harsh on Murphy....Although i do think Buick is in a different league.

It will be the numbers that tell james this. Some great angles to study from james but i'm confident (and he knows himself ) number addicts will never win.

I'm surprised the "professional" pundit has taken this long to cme to that conclusion. Murphy is a good jockey, top class certainly not. He's also lacking character and charm.

Lacking character and charm? I would have to disagree with you on that one imp.

Yeah everyday he wishes that he had the character and charm of jocks such as Moore.

Surprised he hammered Murphy like that...Could it be because he spends most of his time out of the Country.

murphy oozes charisma he is enigmatic, different
when willoughby finds out people are criticising his comments he will retire from propunditary for the 6th time to complete that book

There is supposedly something Murphy did in conjunction with his drinking jag that would lose him all sympathy..

But Willoughby is saying he is an ineffective jockey. That is different. And wrong imo.

I'd like to see that, knoxville. Not sure Willoughby can see ten feet in front of him.

i would say murphy is a much better , honest judge of his own riding performances than many . i like to hear him in interviews .

I would agree he is not top class, he is too weak imo. He is a good jockey.

He is a better than average pro jock, he isn't a Lester, Eddery or a Frankie. good luck to the lad and I hope he keeps his feet on the ground.

James Willoughby looks like his head been put on upside down, rearranged but his lips still in situ.

hard to watch but a great face for radio.

Hollie D has ridden 146 winners this year and some people still think it's about carrying them over the line
