1930 Newc. A Hcp for 3yo+ rated 60 to 80. Also eligible are such horses rated 61 or 62. Also eligible are horses rated

below 60. Why aren't the conditions: horses rated 0 to 62? Only the nincompoops that run racing could come up with

such an absurdity.

Be good to go back to big spread handicaps. Forget the lightweight health issues, all it did was move the wasting problem up to the slightly heavier jockeys, it never eradicated it.
