If that was early in the season he would've eased off at the furlong pole and coasted second. Amazing what a difference the jockeys title thing does.

With Murphy likely to be on enforced holiday soonish due to his alcohol indiscretion for a 2nd time Buick could leapfrog Murphy on winners.

The jockeys championship ends on Saturday on the last race at Ascot , but with Buick only 3 behind now he has a reasonable chance of snatching the title away from Murphy with all the Godolphin unraced 2/3 yr olds , only 4 days left.
