Allset - won a weak, slowly run claiming race over 11F on soft ground. Entered to be claimed for a minimum of 9,000 euros, so the owners were probably delighted to get 15,000+ as a claim by a French based British agent. Officeal French handicap mark 32.5 kgs, equivalent to 70 here.

Probably better than the other ex French entry, Saint Riquier, who cost 33,000 euros at auction after winning a maiden race run at a very small country track that stages one flat meeting per year. That win worth a mark of approx 62/63, although he wasn't given an official mark in France.

Well done tanglefoot, couldn't get a connection for a while. Don't mind people having a guess, but saying it's a guess helps imo.
