If he's going to ride that sort of race he needs to watch Joel Rosario. Never hits the front until the last yard.

Very puzzling ride by Crowley, but hey ho, connections are unlikely to point finger. Explanation from Jim would be interesting, lets get the master of forensics Fitzy to sort the mess out!

Interesting what the guys on RTV were saying about the very slow pace looks like was a bit of disconnect wonder what the boss will say about that.

crowley yet again overdid his hold up at the back tactics....he believes his own hype FAR too much. No idea as far as pace goes - where's the best place in a race to be on/off a slow pace Jim ? Clueless. Commentator said they went a good even gallop - does he watch donkeys on Blackpool beech because anyone under the sun could see it was slow. Steve Cauthen would never have got beaten on that fav....in fact few decent jockeys of old would have as they all had clocks in their heads.

It looks like the instructions are to keep the horse away from others as we saw him hang at Royal Ascot. So it made absolutely no sense for him to stay so far back and then ride out the finish so close to the other two as it looks like he's hung into Bangkok and slowed himself down. He could have won by just staying way wide down the straight and cantering home.

Beaten in a finish at 1.21 to add to the list, though one of his better efforts at least today.

Schrader....fully agreed.....though trainer today reckons the horses stamina ran out !!!!! Baffling.......my thoughts are that it hit the front and reckoned it had done enough, as it wanted to run with its buddies.....out wide it would have pulverised the others as you stated.
