Jockeys can ride like that ..... and still get rides ... earning too much cash .... there lies your problem !

Goes the inside, saves ground, looks for it opening up in the inside, when he sees that won't happen, moves the horse out, still no gap, goes to the outside. The horse still had plenty time to get there and imo only closed because the winner was tieing up.

Terrible ride. He made a lot of mistakes and should have won easily.

Ya think ? wins easy enough with a ride ... not even a good one

It is what it was , a poor ride ..... no excuses , not many jockeys would agree with it being a good ride ! except the jockey of the winner

Wins easy with a half decent ride. Hopeless effort by the jockey.

Never said it was a good ride, you have to chance the inside sometime, how was he to know it wouldn't open up .

Ge didn't wait and wait, he still gave the horse a chance to win, it had plenty time to get up imo

Everyone could see it was going best a long way out yet it was never given a chance to win through jockey error .

Horse not turbo charged or  hiding hidden wings , far too much to do ! was never going to get there from that position at no point did it ever look like it would . It was plain to see the winner had gone by any expectations !

He didn't get a run and switched wide, how did he not give it a chance. Had he stayed where he was with no run then it's fair to say he didn't give it a chance

He panicked and gave the winner 10 lengths by his manoeuvre. Should have held his ground and the gap would have appeared. If he did and it didn`t then that`s racing. Terrible ride.

He got the horse out, had he stayed where he was he would have got slaughtered more

Nothing sinister about it, just a bad ride. Best horse in the race and would have won easy given a straight forward ride. DM would agree himself.

At 2.32 with a couple of furlongs to go when in the clear a few clearly thought it had a chance.

I think he might agree he was a bit unlucky the gap didn't appear earlier imho

It done well to get as close as it did. Certainty beat.

How do you know the gap wouldn`t have come? Horses tire going up that hill and when horses tire gaps appear.

Yeah and he would need to have been a clairvoyant to know that. Im9 did the right thing, got the horse out and gave it a chance

Anyway, it doesn`t matter now. Should have won but it didn`t due to a bad ride. Moneys in the bookie`s satchel. Move on.

Because everybody on the planet knows it was a bad ride except you. Murphy done the same thing at Bath last week. Panicked and switched wide and got beat on the line. He apologised after the race and said he should have held his ground.

imo when they get themselves in that position they have no alternative but to wait and hope that a gap appears.

It was a shyyyte ride  because the jockey lacked the common sense not to manouver by far the best horse,going by far the best into a  position well before he did.
A horse going that well and having to HOPE THINGS OPEN UP FOR YOU IS piss poor.
This wasnt a 5 furlong sprint, it was 14f.
