it has to be said RTV's Irish coverage is absolutely shocking...
still not as fast as it could / should be on RTV BLV....
slow in showing photo freeze frames (for some strange reason)..
and they employ O'Ryan and Mclean (enough said)...
in all honesty the only good thing about the Irish coverage is Ruby Walsh.

Lisa O'Neil the latest one on the list...
do you have to have something to do with Gordon Elliot to get on that channel in Ireland...?
absolutely shocking stuff.
if RTV UK has any sort of role in these appointments they better get real and very soon.

all racing pundits have no connection with racing participants hence they will have impartial views on all incidents that occur to allow fair accurate analysis of races

only ever seems to see great jockeys / great trainers / great owners....
this jockey's doing really well...
this trainer is on a great run...
it's dull as ditch water.

i was being sarcastic hibby racing punditary nowadays is silly how can a pundit give an honest forthright assessment when basically they are connected workwise socially or even related in some way

that is why it is up to the folk who employ these folk to make sure they don't have any connection to trainers / jockeys and even owners.
the Lisa O'Neil appointment has sent me over the edge now.
one too many of the cozy variety for my liking.
i know you were ballyregan...and you are absolutely correct...that is why it is up to the folk who employ these folk to make sure they don't have any connection to trainers / jockeys and even owners.the Lisa O'Neil appointment has sent me over the ed
it's hard to name an Irish jockey who doesn't have 'Kev' as his agent ballyregan...
but RTV Ireland think he's the man to dish out all his wisdom to their viewers...
hideous.

i am sure the world has alot of excellant judges who bet for a living and would love to get in racing tv someway but sadly it appears to be all inhouse, it would be great to see someone on a racing tv channel who has no connection to a jockey trainer or an ex jockey a journalist or a commentator , i think it would be better viewing tbh

continual 'in house' appointments makes it an easy decision for me to call it a day with them.
i gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple of weeks ago.
this latest appointment was one too many for me.
couldn't agree more tbh ballyregan...continual 'in house' appointments makes it an easy decision for me to call it a day with them.i gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple of weeks ago.this latest appointment was one too many for me.
I can't listen to Kev or Mclean anymore . ''the last day , the last day' every single this n that 'the last day he ran .. the last day' its so annoying!!! What does it even mean . I'm cracking up HH

the reason we get constant 'in house' appointments is because they don't want anyone on there questioning rides or tactics or anything at all tbh...
they just want great ride / great jockey / great trainer / great owner / great racecourse....
i've heard enough of that bull$h1t now.
let's be honest here ballyregan...the reason we get constant 'in house' appointments is because they don't want anyone on there questioning rides or tactics or anything at all tbh...they just want great ride / great jockey / great trainer / great own
the only action you can take is to cancel your subscription.
which is what i will be doing.
i appreciated the RTV UK BLV speed up...
RTV Ireland BLV still not as fast as it could / should be...
they've had enough time to get it done and haven't done so...
apart from the odd c0ck up when they have delivered the fast feed by accident.

i only kept it as a sort of 'thanx' for the RTV BLV UK speed up ballyregan...
but the Irish speed up (or lack of it) has been annoying me for a few months now...
and they then pop on Lisa O'Neil ffs...
as Theo Paphitis would say...
I'M OUT...!!!

if racing punditary went on the den jones would question the recruitment policy bannatyne would ask how can the pundits be impartial if they connected and meaden would say why would a customer pay 25 for a channel that has quicker pics for free and with pundits that annoy toddle off up the elevator ruk

I've warmed to Fran Berry. He actually goes through the whole field if he is given time, so many on both stations just mention the first three in the betting.

O'Ryan will say, in order to make an excuse for a jockey, that the horse was 'never travelling ', even if it was cruising the whole way round. As well as his numerous earners in racing the clothes he wears are usually sponsored in some way.

Fran called out the "application of cash" on a winner a while back on a horse with a series of duck eggs in front of its name and a landslide of money for it on the day so I have high hopes for him and I think he'll only get better.

i didn't know there was such a thing RoyalAcademy...
i might consider it tho...
if he chucks in a free topless mud-wrestling subscription...
i hear that sort of thing is very popular in Ireland...
especially once a few glasses of the black stuff have been consumed.

pity RTV Ireland doesn't have more folk like that tbh...
in fairness it's not just RTV Ireland who needs more folk like that...
RTV UK is equally as bad for it's presenters / pundits not seeing things.
