4am tomorrow morning. Y bf not opened market on this? Surely this is the easiest 10%+ bet of all time??? 1/7 go Hills Crazy Mayweather failing against such a YouTube bum is surely closer to 1/7000 ffs .. or does anyone see value in Paul @ 9/2??? Laugh

Ricky Hatton has unleashed a furious tirade at former opponent Floyd Mayweather, claiming he shows 'total disrespect' to his fans by fighting YouTuber Logan Paul.

'Money' will take on the 24-year-old streaming star on Sunday in a fight which is set to earn the American boxing icon over $100million (£72m) LaughLaughLaugh this weekend.

And former British boxer Hatton, who lost to Mayweather in a WBC welterweight clash in 2007, claims the American 'doesn't give a s***' about either his legacy or his fanbase - and is purely focused on the money aspects of the fight. Laugh

'He doesn’t care. He’s called himself "Money" Mayweather for God sake, that tells you all you need to know! It is all about money with him. Me personally, I thought it was about the fans, the fans pay your wages.

'The fans deserved to be entertained. Floyd isn’t bothered as long as he gets money. It shows total disrespect to his peers and the other great champions of old.

'It seems like he is rubbing it in everyone’s face. In the face of people who work 12 hours a day, seven days a week who can’t even afford a holiday.' LaughLaughLaugh

An exhibition event and with that amount of money at stake, who would be surprised at something happening that allows a rematch.

He may be money mad but I do believe he has serious pride about his fight record. He can continue having his cake an eating it by fighting these type of morons and putting them away with zero fuss..but the moment he stutters against any of them is the moment he'll get clowned. If rematches was in his mind at all he'd surely have used his bout with mouthy McGregor(where he earned over double of what he'll be on here..)

Mayweather is a genius, making more money off this fight than Hatton made in his whole career. A bet he’s already planning his next 9 figure pay day vs the brother

i for one cannot see mayweather throwing away such as record as he has..

Mcregor 'fight' was embarrassing.'Money' Dancing around to keep up the facade of it being real. He would knock this logan guy out in 20 seconds if it was a bonafide contest. I wouldn't mind or care because end of the day, like the WWE, its an entertainment thing, but unlike WWE, I think there's a large amount of people who think this is a real boxing contest.

spot on. its WWE event.

Will make it last 6 or 7 rounds at least or unanimous points.

Mayweather wont take him ut in the first round, though he could easily.

Anyone paying good money to watch this wants their head examined.

If it is genuine, at they weights, Logan has a cracking punchers chance imho.
FM is no spring chicken. Think the prices are about right, no shock if FM gets clipped after being out the ring for ages

He's 44 and far lighter. If and it is a big if, Logan clips him he could cause an upset

It is a matter of time before one of these you tubers cause a 'shock'

How this fight is allowed to happen is beyond comperehension, but we all know why and the reasons (money and greed) apply to both. FM a 50-0 record and acknowledged by some to be the best pound for pound boxer of all time against a so called You-Tube 'superstar' (i have no idea what he does) who lost his only pro-fight against a similar type of opponent 18 months ago.

FM was a once respected fighter, but has lost it fighting nobodys, the likes of Marciano, Louis, Ali and Frazier et all must be turning in their graves ashamed to be associated by name with what the sport has become.

As for 1/7, if this is correct i wish there was a market here.

correct andrew..but as we know this fcked up world knows no limits..all about the wonga..

simply a showbiz spectacle to line pockets..as been said similar to WWE..farcical.

but if the tardations are happy to pay the promotors are willing to oblige.

Plenty 1/7 and 1/8 with the bookies, Andrew. Sure they would take a decent bet at they odds between them

Shocking though that betfair got no markets up for it. A lay of Logan on points would be a freebie

Every one of these fighters would of done the same. In fact they all at some time suffered financially and all of them were involved in some sort of “pro wrestling’ at some point in there “retirement” trying to mek a few quid.
Floyd Mayweather has said it himself it’s easy money.

Hi Stewart,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Mayweather_Jr.

Mayweather was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2010s by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), a two-time winner of The Ring magazine's Fighter of the Year award (1998 and 2007), a three-time winner of the BWAA Fighter of the Year award (2007, 2013, and 2015), and a six-time winner of the Best Fighter ESPY Award (2007–2010, 2012–2014).[1][2] In 2016, Mayweather was ranked by ESPN as the greatest boxer, pound for pound, of the last 25 years.[3] As of May 2021, BoxRec ranks him the greatest boxer of all time, pound for pound.[4][5][6] Many sporting news and boxing websites, including The Ring, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, BoxRec, Fox Sports, and Yahoo! Sports, ranked Mayweather as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world twice in a span of ten years.[7][8][9][10][11][12]

He is often referred to as the best defensive boxer in history, as well as being the most accurate puncher since the existence of CompuBox, having the highest plus–minus ratio in recorded boxing history.[13][14][15] Mayweather has a record of 26 consecutive wins in world title fights (10 by KO), 23 wins (9 KOs) in lineal title fights, 24 wins (7 KOs) against former or current world titlists, 12 wins (3 KOs) against former or current lineal champions, and 4 wins (1 KO) against International Boxing Hall of Fame inductees. Mayweather was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in the class of 2021.[

Sugar Ray Robinson is generally regarded as the best boxer who ever laced up a pair of gloves. His record reads like an international phone number: 173-19-6 (108). He compiled an amateur record of 85-0, stopping 69 of his opponents.

Correct, but read the whole article

As of May 2021, BoxRec ranks him the greatest boxer of all time, pound for pound.

I'm not disputing SRR record by the way.
