I do like to win Glaze and it's not even about the money - It's a mindset. Your reference to "my thread" - well, filthy each way betting ain't what it used to be - I'm reduced to buttons on-line - so it probably represents about 5% of my betting these days - but I still very much enjoy it.

Granted - having a guess in every race after 12 seconds research and betting on everything that moves will see you have the odd good day - but I NEVER met a lifetime winner that bets that way. GL.

All these winning "systems" that you have? - but still a negative balance - sometimes less is more.

How can you be reduced to buttons? There are no limits on the exchange. As I said, I made 100pts with lays in the previous threads with my 20-second research approach. I am the king of BSP lays.

Laugh - Yeah - if you're a serial loser and not interested in prices, this is true.

The fact that you are even talking about BFSP says it all! Maybe have a look at the journey to BFSP and consider if some of the prices on that journey might be more profitable? - but you would maybe need to have some knowledge and invest more than 12 seconds!

You are right (to some extent) to be obsessed with the market - price is everything - but you are essentially backing steamers at their bottom price (after they have steamed) and laying drifters at their top price (after they have drifted). Say hello to the poorhouse!

I could back prices higher than bsp, but that would require me to back sooner than before the off obviously. But I can make money at BSP so it doesn't matter. People who can't make money at BSP are mugs.

People that persistently (always) beat BFSP will likely make money (long term) even if they choose to remove the variance and just trade - people that bet at BFSP will likely lose to commission (long term).

People that look at the graph for 12 seconds thinking steamers ALWAYS win and drifters ALWAYS lose - they will lose (long term).

Maybe budget for more than 12 seconds and give some thought to how you might identify the steamers before they steam or lay the drifters before they drift?

Before - is good - after, not so much so! In a world where price is everything - after-timing the price is about as interesting as after-timing the result. The fact that you do both makes you doubly boring to read.

Laugh - he's waiting for you to "red out"  from the guess you made at 2.80 imo
By:

This always happens when I try to lay a big steamer, they literally don't have a bottom price. But some other horses steam from 4 to 2.5 and then to 3.5 before the off, even if it's a RP Nap.

What's next - you can red out for a loss, let your guess ride and hope you get lucky, bet it back in running? - so many choices but all from the start point of a losing (guessing) position.

Get out for a profit in-running (after the race) is my NAP imo

Tiger, that's why I bet before the off. But this was the first race of the day so I had time to take an early price. But thanks for your opinion after the race. You're the expert on laying steaming favs and you said nothing.
